UMW Women Compete on Day Two of NCAA Division III Swimming Championships

The University of Mary Washington women's swimming team competed in full force on day two of the NCAA Division III Swimming Championship on Thursday in Greensboro, N.C.

The 200 freestyle relay of Katie Fago, Shannon Coryell, Hannah Hagy, and Stephanie Hallock just missed out on qualifying for finals, finishing in 18th place with a time of 1:36.11.

Hagy competed in the 100 yard butterfly, and finished in 40th place with a time of 58.77 seconds.

The 400 medley relay of Fago, Anna Corley, Coryell, and Hallock finished in 17th place, missing finals by one slot, at 3:52.47.

The championships will continue on Friday, with Corley competing in the 100 yard breaststroke, and the 800 free relay competing as well.
