Hallock Finishes 11th; 200 Medley Relay 13th to Claim All-America Honors on Day One in NCAA Division III Women's Swimming Championships

Senior Stephanie Hallock finished in 11th place in the 50 yard freestyle at the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming Championships on Wednesday in Greensboro, N.C., and joined Katie Fago, Anna Corley, and Hannah Hagy in finishing in 13th place in the 200 yard medley relay.

Hallock, who was seeded 26th in the 50 free, swam to a time of 23.49, a personal best, and was seeded 15th entering finals competition, where she finished 11th with a time of 23.45, breaking the PR she set in the morning.

The relay was seeded 16th entering competition, and finished 16th in morning prelims, at 1:45.64. The relay came back to finish 13th in the finals to join Hallock with All-America honors, with a time of 1:44.83, cutting eight tenths of a second off their morning time.

Anna Corley placed 31st in the 200 yard IM in prelims, with a time of 2:07.51.

Preliminaries for day two will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
