UMW Women's Swimmers Improve to 5-0 With Win Over Randolph-Macon on Saturday

The University of Mary Washington women's swimming team defeated Randolph-Macon College, 139-66, on Saturday afternoon at Goolrick Natatorium. The Eagles improve to 5-0 on the season.

The Eagles started the meet by winning the 200 yard medley relay, with Katie Fago, Anna Corley, Hannah Hagy, and Stephanie Hallock winning at 1:49.76. Individual winners for the Eagles included Ashley Walnut in the 1000 freestyle at 11:12.53, Emily Adams in the 200 freestyle at 1:58.60, Katie Fago in the 50 freestyle at 25.51, Megan Murphy in the 400 IM at 4:40.24, and Hagy in the 100 butterfly at 1:00.91.

Anna Corley won the 100 freestyle at 54.07 and the 100 breaststroke at 1:09.44, Fago won the 100 backstroke at 1:00.40, and the 200 freestyle relay of Cox, Adams, Hagy, and Hallock took first at 1:41.18.

Mary Washington will be back in action on November 7 when they host Marymount University at 1:00 p.m.
