UMW Women's Swimmers Top Frostburg, Marymount on Senior Day

The University of Mary Washington women's swimming team topped Frostburg State University and Marymount University on Saturday at Goolrick Natatorium, closing the regular season with a 9-3 record.

Winners for the Eagles included the 200 medley relay of Katie Fago, Hannah Hagy, Shannon Coryell, and Steph Hallock, who finished at 1:51.95; senior Maddie Carinci in the 1000 freestyle at 11:33.98 as well as the 500 free at 5:36.09; Maddy Rymer in the 100 backstroke at 1:02.12; Anna Corley in the 100 breaststroke at 1:13.17; Megan Murphy in the 200 butterfly at 2:13.26; Hallock in the 50 free at 25.21; Fago in the 200 backstroke at 2:14.72; senior Alex Parrish in the 200 breaststroke at 2:31.60; Hagy in the 100 fly at 1:02.18; and senior Robin Brazier in the 200 IM at 2:15.68.

The Eagles will return to action on February 20 at the CAC Championships at St. Mary's College.
