UMW Women's Swimmers Fall at Johns Hopkins on Friday Night

The University of Mary Washington women's swimming team dropped a 135-57 decision at Johns Hopkins University on Friday night in Baltimore, Md. The Eagles slip to 7-3 on the season.

Top finishers for the Eagles included Shannon Coryell taking second in the 100 yard freestyle at 54.75, and Bailey Stewart finishing third in the 100 yard butterfly at 1:05.88.

The unusual format of the meet included unusual length races, such as the 900 yard freestyle relay, 150 yard races, and mixed men's and women's relay races.

The Eagles will host Marymount University and Frostburg State University on Saturday at 1 p.m. for senior day.
