UMW Women's Swimmers Top St. Mary's, 131-74, in Saturday CAC Meet

The University of Mary Washington women's swim team topped St. Mary's College, 131-74, on Saturday in Capital Athletic Conference action on the road. The Eagles iumprove to 6-2 on the season.

The Eagles opened the meet with a win in the 200 medley relay, as Katie Fago, Alex Parrish, Hannah Hagy, and Stephanie Hallock took first with a time of 1:52.50. Anna Corley won the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:01.14, Hallock won the 50 freestyle at 25.62, Megan Murphy won the 400 IM at 4:43.67, and Shannon Coryell won the 100 free at 55.46.

Robin Brazier won the 200 backstroke at 2:14.57, Parrish won the 200 breaststroke at 2:31.36, and the 200 free relay finished 1-2-3, led by the winning time of 1:44.31 posted by Coryell, Lauren Wood, Bailey Stewart, and Hagy.

The Eagles will return to action next Saturday when they host Gettysburg College at 1:00 p.m.
