UMW Women's Swimmers Top Randolph-Macon in Saturday Dual Meet

The University of Mary Washington women's swimming team defeated Randolph-Macon College, 135-56, on Saturday in Ashland, Va., to improve to 3-2 on the year.

The 200 medley relay of Maddy Rymer, Hannah Hagy, Corrie Presland-Byrne, and Lauren Wood took first at 1:57.74. Maddie Carinci won the 1000 freestyle at 11:27.78, and Robin Brazier won the 200 freestyle at 2:02.23.

Hannah Hagy won the 50 free at 25.54, Anna Corley won the 200 IM at 2:15.47, Shannon Coryell won the 100 freestyle at 56.03, and Brazier won the 200 backstroke at 2:14.35. Alex Parrish won the 500 free at 5:34.40 and the 200 breast at 2:34.87. The 400 free relay of Stephanie Hallock, Wood, Brazier, and Corley took first at 3:47.96.

The Eagles will swim against Division I Howard University next Saturday at home at 1 p.m.
