Indianapolis, IN.-- The University of Mary Washington Eagles compete in the second day of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, with both Jessica Singer and Amber Kerico competing on Thursday.

Jessica Singer competed in the very next event, going in the 200 free. Jessica finished her prelim with a time of 1:54.50, good for 35th overall.

"I am proud of the way these girls have competed so far. They each have their best events still to come this week, and I am really excited to see what they can accomplish," head coach Abby Brethauer said following the meet.

Both Singer and Kerico will compete later this weekend. Kerico will swim in the 100 breast tomorrow, followed by the 200 breast on Saturday. Singer will have the day off tomorrow, before her final race in the 1650 free.
