UMW Swimming Goes For Gold to Help Fight Childhood Cancer

The Mary Washington men's and women's swimming teams dedicated their meet with Gettysburg this past weekend to helping fight pediatric cancer.

The Eagles meet with the Bullets this past Saturday helped raise over $1,000 for the Make Some Noise for Kids Cancer Foundation. Both teams wore gold caps as they "Raced for Gold." Those wishing to help the fight can go to https://www.firstgiving.com/makesomenoise/Gettysburg/fundraisers to make donations.

Both UMW swim teams return to the pool this Friday, January 31st. The Eagles host Johns Hopkins University in the final home meet of the year beginning at 6:00 p.m.
