Gettysburg, Pa.-- Mary Washington dropped just their second meet of the year against Gettysburg, 166-96 on Saturday. The Eagles only won three races on the day, dropping their record to 6-2 on the year.
Amber Kerico won two of the three races for the Eagles in the 200 Fly and the 200 Breast. Kerico edged out Samantha Evangelista by just over a second, with a time of 2:17.22. Amber won the 200 Breast in a time of 2:29.19. Jessica Singer won the only other race for the Eagles in the 500 Free. Singer won with a time of 5:15.73, edging out Lea Candelmo.
The Eagles return to action on Friday, January 31st. UMW hosts their final home meet of the year against Johns Hopkins, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
