Women's Swimming Opens Dual Meet Season at William and Mary

MEET RESULTS

Williamsburg, Va.-- The University of Mary Washington women's swim team opened their dual meet season at William and Mary on Saturday. The Tribe defeated the Eagles in the meet. 

Hannah Hagy (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) was a winner in the 100 Breast, with a time of 1:09.85. Hagy also placed third in the 100 Fly, finishing with a time of 1:00.86. Amber Kerico (Sterling, Va./Park View) had a second place finish in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:27.70. Kerico also earned a third place finish in the 100 Breast. She finished with a time of 1:10.04. Maddie Carinci (Chantilly, Va./Westfield) and Jessica Singer (Virginia Beach, Va./Ocean Lake) also picked up top three finishes in their events. Carinci finished third in the 1000 Free with a time of 11:26.47. Singer finished second in the 500 Free at 5:20.52.

The Eagles return to action on Friday, October 18th. The Eagles will host Washington & Lee starting at 7:00 p.m.
