Washington, D.C.-- The University of Mary Washington men's swimming team opened up the season at the Potomac Relays, hosted by American University. The competing teams were George Mason, Towson University, Mount St. Mary's University, George Washington University, Georgetown University and host American. 

The Eagles 500 Free team finished in seventh place with a time of 4:54.85. The quartet in the 1000 Free Relay also posted a seventh place finish with a time of 11:29.90. Also finishing in seventh place with a time of 3:40.29 was the 300 Breast Relay team. 

The Eagles return to action on Saturday, October 12th with meet at William & Mary. The meet begins at 11:00 A.M.
