The University of Mary Washington women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Washington (Md.) College on Saturday in the UMW Classic, allowing a penalty kick with 3:07 remaining in regulation. The Eagles slip to 3-1 on the season.

Mary Washington held an advantage in shots on the day, 13-2, and also held a 3-2 edge in corner kicks, but were unable to find the nets to move ahead. Then, late in the contest, Washington converted on a penalty kick from Steph Scott to gain the victory.
