YORK, Pa. -- Frostburg State junior Chelsie McCoy and Mary Washington sophomore Sara Armor were named the CAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week for Sept. 22, 2014.

Frostburg State junior Chelsie McCoy was named the CAC Offensive Player of the Week after exploding for four goals and three assists in a 1-0-1 week for the Bobcats. McCoy tallied her first career hat trick and dished out three assists in a win over Penn State Altoona and scored Frostburg State's only goal in a draw with Stevenson.

Mary Washington sophomore Sara Armor was chosen as the CAC Defensive Player of the Week after pitching a pair of shutouts this week, as Mary Washington improved to 6-1-1. The Eagles topped Randolph-Macon and Hood by identical 1-0 scores. Armor had four saves in the win over the Yellow Jackets.

Christopher Newport sophomore Victoria Perry scored her second hat trick of the season by putting away all three goals in a win on the road vs. Shenandoah. Perry ran her league-leading goals scored and points total to nine and 20, respectively ... In Mary Washington's 1-0 win over Randolph-Macon on Wednesday, senior Ashley Stephens scored the game-winner for her first goal of the year. The Eagles then beat Hood in the final minute on Allie Branum's score ... Hanna Jorich scored two goals in Penn State Harrisburg's 3-2 win over Susquehanna on Tuesday ... Wesley posted a 3-0 week. Morgan Warrington accomplished a rare feat of tallying a goal (game-tying), assist (game-winning) and a save against Neumann after playing the final 18 minutes between the pipes against the Knights ... St. Mary's freshman goalkeeper Sydney Larkin tallied her third shutout of the season with eight saves in a scoreless draw at Randolph-Macon ... Makenzie Cox became Southern Virginia's all-time saves leader with over 200 saves over the course of her career. She passed the 200-save mark in the Knights' 3-1 loss at Bridgewater last Tuesday ...
