UMW's Tryon Named to NSCAA Regional Scholar-Athlete and Jewish Sports Review All-America Teams
University of Mary Washington junior soccer player Sarah Tryon (Fairfax Station, Va., South County) gained a pair of accolades over the holiday break, as she was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's All-East Region Scholar-Athlete Team as well as to the Jewish Sports Review's Division II/III All-America first team.

Tryon was named as an honorable mention selection tot he NSCAA academic team. The biology major carries a 3.72 cumulative GPA. She was named as a first team selection to the Jewish All-America squad after playing a pivotal role in UMW's CAC Tournament-winning season with six goals and four assists, including the tying goal in the final minutes of the CAC Championship game.
