Shelby is an International Affairs major, and is currently working towards a double minor in both Asian and Middle Eastern Studies as well as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) certification. Shelby never played Rugby before coming to UMW; however, she was encouraged during her first semester of freshman year by a few other athletes to come give Rugby a try. Upon joining the team, she fell in love with the sport. When Shelby is not on the pitch, she can be found working on-campus as a barista at Blackstone Coffee. She can also be found playing guitar and singing as well as professionally recording her own original music.
