Emily is currently in the College of Education for the five year Elementary Education Master's program. Her father's and her uncles' rugby history influenced her to start playing in high school. Emily was captain of Loudoun Women's Rugby her junior and senior years of high school and helped lead the team to a Virginia State Division II High School Women's Rugby Championship her junior year. She was also a player in the Virginia State High School Women's All Star team her sophomore and senior years and captained the team her senior year. Her passion to continue the sport she loves drew her to Mary Washington's successful women's rugby program. At UMW, Emily is a member of the Catholic Campus Ministry (CCM), the CCM choir, Students for Life, and a floor representative for the Association of Residence Halls Complex Council, along with being the secretary for women's rugby.
