Lani is a political science major with a chemistry minor.  Lani joined Women's Rugby her second semester freshman year. She was influenced by her Fijian family to play.

Lani is heavily involved at UMW, serving as the current Judicial Review Board President. Lani is a voting member on the Student Government Association Executive Cabinet. Besides from participating in student government, Lani serves as a peer mentor for the RISE program.
