The University of Mary Washington women's lacrosse team has checked in at 13th in the nation in the Nike/US Lacrosse Division III preseason poll.
The Eagles are coming off an abbreviated 2020 campaign in which they went 5-2, and welcome new head coach Maddie Taghon to the fold. UMW finished the 2020 season ranked 14th in the nation.
Middlebury starts the 2021 season as the top-ranked team in the nation, followed by Tufts, Franklin & Marshall, and Gettysburg. The Eagles' finalized 2021 schedule will be announced soon.
