Six UMW Women's Lax Players Named to IWLCA Division III Zag Sports All-Academic Honor Roll; Team Achieves Academic Honor Squad

The University of Mary Washington women's lacrosse team saw six players named to the 2019 IWLCA Zag Sports All-Academic Honor Roll, and the team gain Academic Squad honors for the sixth consecutive season.

The IWLCA honored 652 student-athletes from 172 different institutions on the 2019 IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. UMW was represented by seniors Hanna Ashby, Savannah Boyd, Allison Davis, Sarah Hampton, and Kristen Kunaniec, as well as junior Jenny Bosserman.

The Eagles were one of 312 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA named as IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squads for the 2018-19 academic year. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
