UMW's Littlefield, Maguire Named IWLCA All-America Selections - Mary Washington

University of Mary Washington senior Kirsten Littlefield and junior Mackenzie Maguire were named as All-America selections by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association on Wednesday. Littlefield, a three-time All-American, was named as a first team All-American for the second straight year, while Maguire, named to the second team, was honored for the first time.

Littlefield adds the honor to an already crowded trophy case this spring, as she was selected as the CAC Female Athlete of the Year, the UMW Female Athlete of the Year and co-Scholar Athlete of the Year, the VaSID State College Division and CAC Player of the Year in addition to first team all-CAC, all-state, and all-region honors. The senior from Millstone Township, N.J. scored one goal on the season, leading the team defensively once again with 47 ground balls, 83 draw controls, and 31 caused turnovers.

Maguire led the Eagles in scoring with 73 points, a team high, on 37 goals and 36 assists. She has also collected first team all-conference and all-region honors as well as all-state accolades this Spring.
