During the holiday season, the UMW COAR office pledges to fill 330 boxes with winter essentials and toys for children in the Fredersickburg/Spotsylvania Head Start program. The Head Start program is for children aged 3-5 years who might not have access to cold weather clothing. The women’s lacrosse team came together to fill four boxes with donations including hats, gloves, small toys, coloring books and crayons for the kids.
