UMW Women's Lacrosse Nets Four on IWLCA All-Chesapeake Region Team

Four University of Mary Washington women's lacrosse players have been named to the IWLCA's 2015 All-Chesapeake Region Team. Sophomore Maiah Bartlett and senior Corinne Wiederkehr were named to the first team, and sophomore Emily Mott and senior Mo Sunderland were selected to the second team.

Bartlett, a first team pick, scored one goal on the season, and provided outstanding defense for the Eagles. She collected 37 ground balls and caused 23 turnovers. She has already been named as a first team All-CAC pick as well.

Wiederkehr capped her career as a first team selection after leading the team with 45 goals and 15 assists for 60 points. She had 35 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers as an attacker.

Mott was named to the second team after scoring 17 goals and adding nine assists while playing outstanding defense for UMW. She had 32 ground balls, 22 draw controls, and 22 caused turnovers on the year.

Sunderland gained second team honors after scoring 22 goals and adding three assists while gaining 24 ground balls, 54 draw controls, and caused 13 turnovers.
