UMW Women's Golf Places Second at Goucher Invitational

The University of Mary Washington women's golf team finished in second place among five teams at the Goucher College Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at Hillendale Country Club.

UMW was led by Emily Coppedge, who finished sixth with a 94-95=189. Sophomore Andrea Dill finished seventh at 98-93=191. Freshman Madison McLean took 12th at 99-107=206, and freshman Amanda Maskell took 18th at 113-118=231.

York finished first at 767, with the Eagles placing second at 817. Goucher was third at 878m followed by Southern Virginia at 890 and Juniata at 1055.

The Eagles will continue competition in the spring.
