Jordan Carpenter Named Honorable Mention All-America by D3Hoops.com

Senior forward Jordan Carpenter has been named as a preseason All-America selection by D3Hoops.com, as released on Wednesday. Carpenter gained honorable mention honors.

Carpenter led the Eagles to the third round of the NCAA Tournament a year ago, averaging 15.0 PPG and 8.5 rebounds per contest. She was named honorable mention All-America by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, as well as all-region, all-conference, and all-state in 22-23.

One of the most efficient players in the country, she ranked nationally in both field goal percentage (58.25%) and offensive rebounds (4.3 per game). She led Mary Washington to the NCAA Tournament sectional semifinals with a 24-7 record.

She scored double figures in 22 games, had 11 double doubles, and achieved a career high with 30 points in the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference championship game. She becomes UMW's first WBCA All-American since Brianne Comden in 2017.
