University of Mary Washington senior center Brianne Comden has been named as a fourth team All-America selection by the website D3Hoops.com.
Comden closed her outstanding career by leading UMW to its second straight NCAA Division III Tournament this year, averaging 15.8 points per game while shooting 48.5% from the field.
She finished her career ranked third all time in UMW women's basketball scoring history, with 1,503 points. This season, she scored 457 points, including 31 against Wesley on January 14. She scored 20-plus points eight times, and also averaged 5.8 rebounds per game.
