UMW Men's and Women's Track & Field Competes at Colonial Relays

The University of Mary Washington men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed at the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, Va., this weekend, with several top results. 

Fir the men, Jacinto Jones II finished in third place in the 200 meter dash with a time of 21.78. Samuel Gowe was sixth in the long jump, at 21 feet, 6.25 inches, and the 6000 relay finished at 17:20.18. Ethan Young took ninth in the 110 meter hurdles, at 15.35. The 4x100 relay finished 10th at 43.18, and the 4x200 took 11th, at 1:33.02.

For the women, Sophia Redmond was 15th in both the 100 meters (12.63) and the 200 meters (25.77).

Both teams will be back in action next weekend at the Dennis Craddock Invitational in Lynchburg, Va.
