The University of Mary Washington men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed at the Doc Jopson Invitational in Bridgewater, Va., on Saturday.

On the men's side, the 4x100 meter relay of Jacinto Jones II, Reese Creadon, Matthew Rose, and Ian Chapman finished third, at 42.65. Aidan Kimener was sixth in the 800 meters at 2:01.09, Creadon was seventh (59.66) and Ethan Young eighth (1:00.50) in the 400 meter hurdles.

In the field, Rajai Walton took first in the triple jump, at 14.19 meters.

On the women's side, Haileigh Byrd finished fifth in the triple jump, at 10.17 meters.
