UMW Indoor Track Competes at George Mason Invitational

The University of Mary Washington indoor track and field team competed at the George Mason Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Fairfax, VA.

David Danek took home fourth place in the high jump as he touched 1.96m. Danek also placed third in the triple jump as he hit 13.07m. Laurence Sneed placed third in the 800m run, while freshman Patrick Brown came in 10th place in the 3000m run.

Josie Allamby claimed fourth place in the high jump as she touched 1.50m. Erin Andrewlevich came in eighth place in the 400m dash, while Jean Woodrum came in 13th in the weight throw. 

UMW will be back in action on Saturday as they will travel to Roanoke for the Roanoke Invitational.
