The University of Mary Washington indoor track and field teams opened the 2019-20 season on Saturday at the JDL Fast Track Collegiate Opener in Winston-Salem, N.C.

On the women's side, senior Erin Andrewlevich finished in eighth place in the 200 meters, with a time of 26.16.

The men saw Laurence Sneed place second in the 800 meters at 2:00.17, Kevin Munson finish second in the pole vault at 14 feet, 1.25 inches, and Rajai Walton finish seventh in the long jump at 22 feet, 5.75 inches and eighth in the triple jump at 46 feet, 6.75 inches. Tristan Johnson was seventh in the shot put at 44 feet, 6.75 inches.

The Eagles will return to action in January at the George Mason Invitational on January 25.
