The University of Mary Washington outdoor track and field teams competed at the Gallaudet University Invitational on Saturday in Washington, D.C.
On the women's side, Teresa Guzman won the 800 meter run at 2:30.29, while Lenzie Lloyd won the 1500 meters at 5:20.44. Haileigh Byrd finished first in the 100 and 400 meter hurdles, at 17.45 and 1:12.87.
For the men, J.P. Burklow won the 800 meters at 2:04.45.
The teams will return to action next weekend as they host the Eagle Invitational on Saturday.
