UMW Indoor Track and Field Teams Compete at CNU's Vince Brown Invitational

The University of Mary Washington indoor track and field teams competed at the Vince Brown Invitational on Saturday in Newport News, Va.

The women saw freshman Erin Andrewlevich finish fifth in the finals of the 60 meter dash at 8.04 seconds. Junior Janel Moore finished fourth in the 200 meters at 26.15 seconds, and Kristy White took fifth in the 800 meters at 2:25.55.

The 4x400 meter relay of Andrewlevich, White, Moore, and Danielle Beard took third at 4:13.74. Avery Haislip was fifth in the high jump at nine feet, eight inches.

For the men, freshman Camron Rauch finished fifth in the 200 meters at 22.79 seconds, and Camron Coates and Scott Black finished eighth and ninth in the 800 meters. Jeff Gibson was eighth in the 3000 meters at 8:48.38, and David Danek was third in the high jump at 6 feet, 2.75 inches. Daniel Forjan was eighth in the shot put and weight throw.
