The University of Mary Washington indoor track and field teams competed at the University of Maryland Terrapin Invitational on Saturday, with both school records in the 300 meters falling.

On the women's side, freshman Erin Andrewlevich broke the school mark in the 300 meters with a time of 43.02. The men's 300 record also fell, as Camron Rauch ran 36.09 in placing sixth overall.

Other women's top results included Janel Moore running the 60 meters in 8.20 and the 200 meters at 26.87. For the men, Nathaniel Thompson placed ninth in the 200 meters at 23.63 and ninth in the 400 meters at 52.19. Alec Biles was 11th in the 600 meters at 1:29.32, and Jeff Gibson was sixth in the 3000 meters at 9:08.83.

Ben Sorensen was fifth in the 5000 meters at 15:38.04. David Danek took second in the high jump at 1.88 meters, and Kendall Moses was 10th in the long jump at 6.18 meters and sixth in the triple jump at 11.29 meters. Ripken Smith took fourth in the weight throw at 13.05 meters.

The women finished in 14th place in team standings, while the men finished seventh.

The Eagles will be back in action next Saturday at George Mason University.
