UMW Indoor Track and Field Competes at CNU Quadrangular Invite on Friday Night

The University of Mary Washington indoor track and field teams competed at the Christopher Newport University Quadrangular Invitational on Friday night, with several top results.

On the women's side, junior Janel Moore finished first in the 60 meter dash at 8.06 seconds, as well as the 200 meter dash at 26.79 seconds. Freshman Erin Andrewlevich won the 400 meters at 1:02.68, while freshman Kristy White took top honors in the 800 meters at 2:32.30.

The4x400 relay team took first, with Hannah Huggins, Emily Knerr, White, and Bailey Ratliff crossing the line at 4:36.18. 

For the men, freshman Grant Mitchell finished second in the mile at 5:03.39, and the 4x800 relay team of Tate Houff, Cameron Coates, Nathaniel Thompson, and Scott Black took first at 8:21.51.

Freshman David Danek won the high jump at six feet, 4.75 inches, and Kendall Moses took second in the long jump at 21 feet, 1.25 inches.
