University of Mary Washington junior Sheree Turner and seniors Taylor Cockerille and Chris Anderson turned in standout performances at the Liberty University Invitational on Wednesday evening in Lynchburg.

Anderson, running in the 800 meters, shaved a second off his season best time at 1:54.84. Cockerille took second in the shot put at 41 feet, 2.5 inches, with Turner finishing in third place at 40 feet, 11.75 inches.

Senior Colleen Boyle was sixth in the 1500 meters at 4:51.40. Cockerille was sixth in the discus at 128 feet, four inches.
