The University of Mary Washington indoor track and field teams took a contingent to the Patriot Games in Fairfax, Va., on Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Janel Moore finished seventh in the 200 meters at 26.75, and Colleen Boyle took 10th in the 3000 meters at 10:57.43. Bailey Ratliff took seventh in the high jump at 1.51 meters, and Sheree Turner took fifth in the weight throw at 14.95 meters, and Elysa Baker finished ninth at 14.05 meters.

For the men, Chris Anderson took 11th in the 1000 meters at 2:36.42. Ian Granger finished sixth in thr 5000 meters at 16:03.87, Dylon Garrett took 10th in the pole vault at 4.00 meters, and Daniel Forjan finished eighth in the shot  put at 13.43 meters.

Forjan took fifth in the weight throw at 13.23 meters followed by Christian Hughes in sixth at 13.20 meters.

Both teams will be back in action on February 7 at Christopher Newport University.
