YORK, Pa. -- Wesley sophomore Elizsha Streeter and Mary Washington senior Claire Harrington were honored as the CAC Women's Track & Field Athletes of the Week for Feb. 10, 2015.

Wesley sophomore Elizsha Streeter was awarded the CAC Track Athlete of the Week after breaking a conference record in the 400 meters at Frank Colden Invitational this weekend. Streeter completed the 400 meters with a time of 58.84, breaking the conference record and posting the 24th-best time in the NCAA. She also helped the Wolverines break a school record in the 4x4 relay (4:06.77), which is the best time in the conference this season. She also won the 200 meters with a conference-best time of 26.17.

Mary Washington senior Claire Harrington was selected as the CAC Field Athlete of the Week after breaking a conference record and her own school record at the Vince Brown Invitational. Harrington broke her own school record and the CAC record in the pole vault, leaping to a height of 11'-5.75''. Her new pole vault mark ranks 22nd in the nation.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE

All seven CAC teams competed in non-scoring events this past weekend ... This past weekend's meets marked the final tune-up for the 2015 CAC Indoor Championship for all but three teams ... Christopher Newport's Enuma Ezenwa ranked second among all Division III competitors during the Vince Brown Invitational in the long jump with a 5.07-meter effort and she placed first among Division III competitors and fifth overall in the 60-hurdles with a time of 9.15, which is the fastest in the CAC this year and ranks 22nd in the country. She also posted the league's third-fastest time this year in both the 200 (26.78) and 400 (1:01.02) during the meet ... Frostburg State's Kayla Truesdel took second in the 400-meter dash (1:02.20) and third in the 200-meter dash (27.17) as the Bobcats competed at the Crusader Classic at Susquehanna University Friday. She also helped the 4x200-meter relay team to a win in a season-best 1:52.09 ... Salisbury's Sarah Taylor tallied one of Salisbury's top performances in the field events of the Vince Brown Invitational, placing fifth in the pole vault. She tied her own school record with a 10'-11.75" effort.
