York senior TIM HARTUNG (Mohnton, Pa./Governor Mifflin) and Mary Washington junior NICK JUDY (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) were chosen as the CAC Men’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week for Feb. 4, 2014.

Hartung secured Men’s Track Athlete of the Week honors after setting a new school record in the 3000 meters at the Bucknell Open last Saturday. Hartung crossed the line in 8:29.52 to set a new Spartan mark, and also finished second in his section in the 5000 meters at 15:57.06.

Judy earned Men’s Field Athlete of the Week following a record-breaking performance in the pole vault at the George Mason Invitational. Judy cleared 14’-1.25”, breaking the previous Mary Washington record that had stood since 1992.
