The University of Mary Washington indoor track and field teams sent several athletes to the University of Maryland Invitational in Landover, Md., on Saturday.

For the women, Tara Landy finished seventh in the 5000 meters with a time 19:32.54.

On the men's side, Stephen Harrison placed 14th in the 5000 meters at 16:00.19; the distance medley relay finished sixth (Chris Marino, Daniel Ache, Nate Dawes, Chris Anderson) at 11:07.22 and seventh (Matt Shaughnessy, Kevin Robertson, Zach Fichter, Julian Menk) at 11:08.27.

Both teams will compete next Saturday at the George Mason University Invitational at 10:00 a.m.
