The University of Mary Washington indoor track and field teams sent several competitors to the Father Diamond Invitational on Saturday in Fairfax, Va.

Junior Michelle Sutherland finished eighth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:01.93. Freshman Michael Lohr took 10th place in the pole vault with a leap of 3.30 meters.

Sophomore Dalton Eachard ran the 60 hurdles at 9.19, the 400 meters at 54.17, and the 60 meters at 7.41 seconds.

Both teams will return in full force to the University of Maryland Invitational on January 21.
