The University of Mary Washington indoor track and field teams competed at the Virginia Tech Invitational on Saturday.

For the women, Michelle Sutherland ran the 400 meters with a season-best time of 1:00.6. In the 60 meter hurdles, Brooke Thompson and Paige Kelly advanced to the semifinal heat, with Thompson running 9.62.

For the men, Alan Meyer ran the 400 meters at 52.01, and Matt Shaghnessy ran the 800 meters in season best time of 1:57.01.
