The University of Mary Washington indoor track and field teams competed at the Patriot Games Invitational nat George Mason University on Saturday with several quality results.

For the men, Dalton Eachard ran the 60 meter hurdles at 9.17; Matt Shaughnessy ran the 1000 meters in 2:37.65; William Green ran the 3K at 9:19, and John Lilly leapt six feet, 0.75 inches in the high jump.

The Eagle women saw Brooke Thompson run the 60 hurdles in 9.74, while Michelle Sutherland and Paige Kelly also advanced to the final; Sutherland ran the 200 meters at 27.86; and Cheyenne Falls turned in a throw of 35 feet, three inches in the shot put.

Mary Washington will be back in action next Saturday at the Christopher Newport University Invitational at 9:30 a.m.
