UMW Track and Field Competes at Duke Invitational
The University of Mary Washington track and field teams competed at the Duke University Invitational on Saturday, with several season bests achieved.

For the men, Jason Driscoll ran a season best in the 1500 meters with a time of 3:59.16, followed closely by Matt Cash at 4:01.57. Cash ran the 800 meters at 1:54.04. In the steeplechase, Chris Marino ran a seaosn best time of 9:51.9.

The Eagle women saw Ali McClelland run the 100 meters at 13.04 and the 200 meters at 26.98. Michelle Sutherland ran a season best in the 400 hurdles at 1:05.9. Lynette Humphries ran the 100 meter hurdles at 16.00 seconds, and Sarah Dawes ran the 800 meters at 2:24.

Mary Washington will return to action next weekend at the Messiah College Invitational.
