#18 UMW Men's Tennis Falls, 7-2, at #32 Babson on Sunday

The 18th ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision at 32nd ranked Babson College on Sunday morning. The Eagles slip to 12-5 on the season.

Mary Washington started swiftly by gaining the first two doubles points. Rishi Charan Shankar and Peter Leese scored an 8-5 win at one over Dae-Hyun Back and Andrew Watson, and Albert Vladimirskiy and Jack Riordan won at two, 8-4. From there, Babson gained the win at three doubles, and then all six singles.

The Eagles will return to action on Wednesday when they host North Carolina Wesleyan College at 3:30 p.m.
