#29 UMW Men's Tennis Storms Back to Top #37 Chapman, 6-3

The 29th ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team fell behind in doubles, but stormed back to defeat 37th ranked Chapman University, 6-3, on Thursday in Claremont, California. The Eagles improve to 6-1 on the season.

The Eagles scored one point in doubles, as Rishi Charan Shankar and Peter Leese gained a win at one, 8-6. Trailing 2-1 entering singles, UMW scored wins from Brock Ladehoff at two, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, Artis Hart at three, 4-6, 6-1, 6-4, Trevor Rein at four, 6-4, 6-4, Leese at five, 6-4, 6-1, and Evan Fisher at six, 7-6, 6-3.

UMW will be back in action on Friday when they face the University of Redlands at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time.
