The University of Mary Washington men's tennis team fared well this weekend at the Joe Hunt Invitational, hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy, against Division I competition.
In singles, Andrew Campbell and Peter Leese won three of four matches, while Andrew Cooper went 3-0. Artis Hart and Rishi Charan Shankar won two of three, as did Brock Ladehoff.
In doubles play, Charan Shankar and Nick Spera won all three matches. Andrew Watson and Jacob Pfab took two of three matches, and Leese and Hart took three of four.
The Eagles will host the ITA South/Southeast Regional on Sept. 30-Oct. 2.
