University of Mary Washington senior tennis star Moses Hutchison has been named as the B101.5 Male Student-Athlete of the Month for October.

Hutchison started the month by advancing to the singles final and winning the doubles final with teammate Andrew Watson at the ITA Southeast Regional Tournament. Hutchison topped opponents from Hampden Sydney, Swarthmore, Washington & Lee, and Washington College in advancing to the championship match. In doubles, Hutchison and Watson claimed the championship, topping foes from Carnegie Mellon, Christopher Newport, Swarthmore and Johns Hopkins, and downed teammates Cole Tecce and Peter Leese in the championship. Both pairs were invited to the ITA Cup in Berry Georgia two weeks later.

Hutchison competed in the singles flight at the ITA Cup, and downed Cole Lindwall of Wisconsin-Whitewater in the first round, 6-3, 6-2, moving to the second round and gaining ITA singles All-America status.

In doubles, Hutchison and Watson defeated their first round opponents from Skidmore to claim doubles All-America honors.
