The University of Mary Washington men's tennis team dropped a 5-0 decision to Southern Virginia University on Saturday in the 2021 Coast 2 Coast Athletic Conference championship. The Eagles slip to 10-3 on the season.

All three doubles flight were hard fought, with the Eagles coming out on the short end at one, 8-4, at two, 8-5, and at three, 8-7. The Eagles countered the Knights' momentum with first set wins at one, three, and six, and Cole Tecce fought to splits sets, but SVU gained the first two points in singles, at two and five, to gain the win for their first C2C conference championship.

The Eagles move to 10-3 on the season, and will await the announcement of the team, singles, and doubles flights for the 2021 NCAA Division III Championships.
