University of Mary Washington junior Moses Hutchison was named as the ITA Division III National Player to Watch, as presented by Oracle, on Wednesday morning live on a virtual award ceremony.
Hutchison finished the spring with a 4-2 mark at one singles, and was named ITA Division III National Player of the Week after topping Kenyon's Jake Zalenski, the sixth ranked player in the nation, 3-6, 7-6, 10-4. He was subsequently named the UMW Male Spring Athlete of the Year and ITA Regional Player to Watch in the Atlantic South. He gained wins over opponents from four nationally-ranked teams, with his only loss coming to a Division II player. He was 6-0 at one doubles with Michael Fleming as well.
