#15 UMW Men’s Tennis Tops #22 Sewanee, 5-4, on Saturday

The fifteenth-ranked University of Mary Washington men's tennis team topped twenty-second ranked Sewanee University, 5-4, on Saturday afternoon.

In doubles action, Moses Hutchison and Michael Fleming came up with a big 8-4 win at one. At three doubles, Andrew Watson and Priyan DeSilva took an 8-2 victory. Sewanee won at two doubles 8-4.

Watson secured the first singles victory for UMW at three as he won 6-1, 6-1. Cole Tecce put the Eagles up 4-2 as he won 6-2, 7-5 at five singles. Fleming clinched the match for the Eagles as he won at four 6-1, 4-6, 6-1. Sewanee secured singles victories at one, two, and six.

The Eagles will be back in action on Sunday as they will host #31 Stevens at 1 p.m.
